HVMZA (Miami Art Week)
HVMZA, 305Mandy, Eren, Mr Fulltime
Doors 8PM
Art Week gives everyone too many options. This is the one worth choosing. HVMZA does not play a set so much as take a room somewhere. Warm, percussive, patient at the start and relentless by the end, the kind of night people describe to each other for weeks after. His shows sell out because of it. With 305Mandy, Eren and Mr Fulltime, Friday, December 4, from 8pm at AIRE Miami.
Playing
- HVMZABelgian producer and DJ HVMZA draws on his Turkish and Arabic roots to blend afro, Latin and organic house, weaving Middle Eastern melodies, Latin American folk and traditional African rhythms into a sound entirely his own. Self-taught since his bedroom hip hop days, he has become one of house music’s fastest-rising names, known for sold-out shows, storytelling sets and videos that travel far beyond the dance floor.
